Guided Photo Walk: Traces of Industrial Pori,
Saturday 14.11.2026, 13:00–15:00

Are you new in Pori and interested to learn about the history of the city?
Satakunta Museum warmly welcomes new residents of Pori to learn about the significant industrial history of the city. Join in for a free guided photo walk on Saturday 14.11.2026 at 13:00-15:00!

The guided walk is free of charge. To participate, please sign up for the walk through the online form in City of Pori Webstore.
Please note that the number of participants is limited to 15 people.
The photo walk will take place in city centre area, inspecting the traces of industry found in Pori through photography. The industrial history of the city will be presented by a guide. Prior experience in photography is not needed – you participate by photographing with your phone.

The walk begins from in front of Satakunta Museum (Hallituskatu 11) at 13:00. It ends in Rosenlew-museum, where we will share what we learned and discovered. The total duration of the walk is maximum of two hours. The tour is held in English.
Please consider having a suitable clothing according to the weather.
The guided photo walk is organized by Satakunta Museum’s projects Uudet porilaiset / New residents of Pori and EU CERV funded Baltic’s Past and Future.
